Autism in Ocala:   We wish to open an Autism center here in Ocala Florida.  As previous board members of Ocala Autism Support Network, we were able to see first hand what families who have children on the Autism Spectrum needed and were missing.  In an effort to be able to provide these services, therapies and assistive devices, KidGenius was born.

During the month of April, some will celebrate those in our lives that have autism by permanently showing their support by getting an autism themed tattoo.

Participating tattoo shops donate a portion of the tattoo cost to a local charity that provides autism services. To date, participating shops have raised over $70,000 worldwide.

Locally, our Super Sidekick Tattokah will donate a portion of all autsim inpired tattoos to KidGenius throughout the month of April.

Our 2nd annual Moms Night out will take place on April 16th from 7pm to 10pm. You DO NOT have to get a tattoo but should you wish to, the talented artists of tattookah will be available.

This event is FREE, please RSVP using the eventbrite form below. Last year our moms recieved a much needed night off and even made the font page of the Star Banner Newspaper!

Shine a Light on Autism to bring attention to a “Different-ability” that 1 in 68 children have been diagnosed with. The goal is to bring awareness, acceptance, and attract the much needed services our city has been past up for, in favor of neighboring cities. Please join the nation in solidarity, while giving hope to local families, who for a very long time have felt alone and isolated; even though the number of children diagnosed has increased by 30% since 2012. It takes a village and together we can help build it. It's pure Genius. Follow our efforts via Facebook and be sure to join us https://www.facebook.com/events/804318099636365

National Autism Awareness Day is April 2nd . On this day, ask not what you can do for us, but what we can do for you!

On April 2, 2014 we will be spending the evening educating our local community on autism and invoking discussions as to how we can help our community receive earlier intervention.
