Autism in Ocala:   We wish to open an Autism center here in Ocala Florida.  As previous board members of Ocala Autism Support Network, we were able to see first hand what families who have children on the Autism Spectrum needed and were missing.  In an effort to be able to provide these services, therapies and assistive devices, KidGenius was born.

North Central Early Steps supports families in their relationships with their child as the vehicle for intervention. The goal is for the family to receive strong support through a primary coach approach to teaming that assigns one member of a multidisciplinary team as the primary coach, where he or she receives coaching from other team members, and uses coaching with parents and other primary caregivers to support and strengthen their confidence and competence in promoting child learning and development. Services and supports are provided to the family and child where they live, learn and play, to enable the family to implement developmentally appropriate learning opportunities during everyday activities and routines.
